From what I understand about emerging churches, I think they are more Critical Realist than Postmodernist. Writing about philosophy on blog comments is like dancing about architecture, so I’ll refrain. There’s a great book called _Transcendence_ coauthored by Margaret S. Archer, Andrew Collier and Douglas V. Porpora which is hard to get a hold of yet definitely worth an interlibrary loan. It tries to enter into a dialogue between Critical Realism and Christianity.
